Privacy & your data

A clear view.

Play as a guest. Create a driver when you want to keep shared scores. Choose which runs go public.

This notice explains data use by Simple Drift, an independently operated game based in the United States, at simpledrift.com and its Base44-hosted game address. Contact the operator at simpledrift@gmail.com. Base44 supplies hosting and account services; it is not the game’s operator.

Playing on this device

The game saves controls, car builds, display and sound preferences, favorite and recent districts, tutorial progress and local best scores in your browser. These saves let the game remember your setup. They do not automatically sync to an account or another device.

Guest drives, tutorials and Free drive are not uploaded as ranked scores. Loading the site still makes requests to the hosting service. See Cookies & browser storage for storage, sessions and clearing your device’s saves.

Creating a driver

Base44 handles email and password registration, verification, password recovery and sign-in sessions. If you choose Google sign-in, Google and Base44 handle that sign-in and the account information it supplies.

Simple Drift links your account to a driver profile containing a public driver identifier, alias, joining date and recent ranked-run start times. This supports your profile, associates runs with you and limits repeated requests. Your email, private account identifier and sign-in credentials are not included in public leaderboard responses. Choose an alias that does not reveal information you want to keep private.

Starting and sharing a Dispatch

A signed-in ranked Dispatch begins with a private server record containing your account and driver identifiers, alias, district, car, driving style, start and expiry times, rules version and a protected run-token fingerprint. This happens before you choose whether to share.

Only when you choose Share score does the game send its recording of driving controls and recovery inputs for server replay. The server checks the run and calculates the result. The score database keeps the result and a recording fingerprint, not the full control recording.

A shared result can appear on the public leaderboard with your alias, public driver identifier, district, car, driving style, points and point breakdown, deliveries, best combo and run duration. Anyone can view or copy public results. Other people’s copies are outside the game’s control.

Support and diagnostics

Sending a support request stores your account identifier, request type, message, submission time, status and any operator reply. Requests are private to the signed-in requester and authorized operators, with Base44 providing the underlying service. They are used to review and respond to the request. If you contact us by email, your address, message, attachments and replies are handled through Gmail for the same purpose. Do not include passwords, verification codes or unnecessary personal details.

The game’s device-check report and local error reference stay on your device unless you deliberately share them. Downloading a report does not send it to support. The game does not automatically upload these reports or send background gameplay analytics.

Hosting and sign-in providers

Base44 processes account information, app records and the network requests needed to deliver and protect the service. Hosting and authentication may involve technical logs such as IP addresses, browser information and request times. Their handling and retention are managed through Base44’s services.

Base44’s privacy policy explains its own processing; its Data Processing Addendum covers processing for app operators. Base44 operates internationally, so processing may take place outside your country. Google’s privacy policy applies when you use Google services.

Our age policy

Simple Drift is intended for players aged 13 and older. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian’s permission, and any stricter requirements that apply where you live still apply. This is the game’s use policy, not an official age rating.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to the game, or you have a parent or guardian request, email simpledrift@gmail.com. You do not need a game account to contact us. Provide only the information needed to locate the concern; do not send identity documents unless a suitable verification method has been agreed.

Retention, requests and complaints

There is currently no automatic expiry for driver profiles, pending runs, verified results or support requests. They remain until removed by the operator. Run tokens expire after two hours, which prevents further sharing; it does not delete the record. Clearing browser data does not delete account records.

You can change your public alias in Your driver. Use Support & account data to request a copy, correction or deletion of your information, or to raise a privacy concern. Select Question for a correction or other concern. In-app requests require sign-in, are reviewed manually, and show their status and any reply on the support page. Sending a request does not immediately delete your account.

You can also email simpledrift@gmail.com without signing in, including if account recovery fails. We may need proportionate information to verify a request before disclosing or changing account data. Never send your password or verification code.

Your rights depend on the law that applies to you and may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and a complaint to your local data protection authority. The manual support process does not limit those rights or extend any applicable legal deadline.
